This is the World's Largest K'nex Ferris Wheel. Still a work in progress, this massive wheel towers 13 feet high, is over 12 feet across and is nearly 40 feet in circumference. Stephen Walker, Simon Olson, Sam Ihlenfeldt, Paul Davis, Renee Bergeron and I have worked the past 2 weeks to bring my latest K'nex world record to life, and now with the addition of an electric motor this Ferris Wheel is officially operational. The wheel alone contains over 6000 pieces, and in total the structure contains about 10,000. I put a video camera in one of the prototype gondolas to get a video of what a passenger riding in this gigantic wheel would see. The trip around the wheel takes about 40 seconds to complete.
